Gunpowder Falls State Park, Bradshaw

My husband and I take our 12 year old son and 11 year old nephew here frequently. For $3 all day long, you can not beat the price. There is a wonderful swimming area and beach that is patrolled by lifeguards on most season days. There is also an area to rent kayaks, jet skis, etc. There are many picnic tables and grills available so that you can bring your own cooked food, or grill out on on of the many public grill stations. If that doesn't do it for you, there is a nearby concession stand that also sells some beach and swimming necessities like inflatable tubes and toys, beach balls, goggles, towels, etc. and of course food, drinks, and snacks for a reasonable price. There are bathrooms available there as well. Hammerman is a great place to spend a few hours or an entire day. It's close by to many things, and there is ample parking available as long as you get there early. My family and I always have an enjoyable time, and we will continue to go back to make many more memories.

Nice family friendly environment. Costed $3 per person which is reasonable. Beach, park, picnic areas, bathrooms, and vending machines were available. No lifeguards on duty. Was first time going and enjoyed myself. Beautiful scenery. Would recommend to others.
