  • The park was good. It's a good park if you want to do just some fishing and casual stuff. You can rent a canoe and other stuff near the swim beach. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE SWIM BEACH. The water is always just really warm and there is a ton of seagrass which contains leaches. Other than that it's a good park.
  • The park is nice, I loved the look of the cabins outside. There is hiking and swimming, and no entrance fee if you want to come for a day visit. They have a discovery center which has activities over the weekend. The beach area is Sandy and shallow for some good distance making it great for kids, but small and might get crowded on weekends and holidays (we came twice in an earlier part of a weekday). You can also rent kayaks and bring your own boat.
