  • When I think of State Parks, I think of a quiet secluded piece of heaven. This park is right beside a busy highway and the constant droning of big trucks and dump trucks just ruins the experience. It’s a petty cool place to see but not a place I wanted to spend much time at...too much noise from the traffic.
  • Pinnacle Rock State Park is a land of wonder and awe. If you've never been I highly suggest you check it out. They have several hiking trails, a lake, and of course Pinnacle Rock itself. They built an observation deck maybe a decade ago, but one can circumvent that relatively easily and enjoy the entire top. But be wary, the climb itself can be risky and slim. At any rate, stop by and see this natural wonder.
