  • We took the Sunrise Mountain Scenic Overlook road. It was a really long one way beautiful country road that end at a beautiful overlook.  more »
  • Refreshing spring water. Lovely trails. There are even playgrounds. There are clean restrooms, but plumbing needs work.  more »
  • I really enjoyed my time hiking here. It has the same beauty as it’s neighbors (High Point State Park and the Delaware Water Gap), but didn’t seem to have the same crowds I’ve experienced at the others on summer weekdays. I was alone on the Stony Brook Trail and Tower Trail, both of which I believe are rather popular. I’m sure that Sunrise Mountain had a solid crowd though. Besides the two trails I just mentioned, be sure to see Tillman Ravine. Park at the upper parking lot (the first lot if coming from 206) and then hike the lower trail (the one closest to the stream) down to the bottom and back. It was very peaceful and pretty. It also seems that the camping would be pretty nice too. The restrooms and facilities seemed well kept.
  • I love this place! Great for hiking, especially recommend the blue trail, it takes you along a nice Creek for a lot of the way! Plenty of trails and little parks for picnics as well as sunrise mountain if you feel like going uphill for a beautiful view!
