  • I want to give them a low review just to keep this place quiet and to myself, but that's not fair. I love this spring. It has a large picnic area at the top of the spring. You have to walk down a well built ramp to get to the water, but once there you have plenty of space to swim and relax. Snorkeling and Scuba diving are popular here because of the 75ft deep spring hole. You can spend a day here easily and in full relaxation.
  • Troy springs has a nice walkway to the spring water entry. A longer walk will take you to a boat ramp for kayaks and paddleboards. I would suggest wheels to transport them. A further walk takes you to a nice floating dock at the river near the end of the springs run. My visit was during the week and for a few minutes we had the entire spring to ourselves. The water clarity was great. An awesome gem of the Florida State Parks.
