We really enjoyed Silver Dollar City. We love amusement parks and this was by far the most picturesque and broadly entertaining. They had great rides, but they also had so much else to see and experience. The ambiance of the historic Ozarks made just walking around the park very nice. And all of the staff we interacted with were super friendly and helpful. There was so much to see with period craftsman (woodworkers, candy makers, blacksmiths, glass blowers, etc), really great country\bluegrass music shows, and rides that we didn't get to see or do it all. We really could've used 4 more hours and no weather delays. If any of the activities I mentioned sound good then consider taking two days at the park.
Great park! Bucket list worthy! The park is spread out so you can be entertained by not just roller coasters, but shows, food and shopping. The staff is so accommodating and very sweet. The safe atmosphere and GENUINE good nature of the staff is a VERY RARE FIND. The parks rides are very thrilling. Great food! I HIGHLY recommend taking your family. All ages can be entertained.
