The Sons of Britches Show is made up of skilled and talented musicians who play Classic Country and Classic Rock, Cajun, Cowboy and Bluegrass as it is requested by the audience. No two shows are the same! Earl Vaughan and Louis Darby have been professional musicians since each was a teenager. Each has been entertaining in Branson, Missouri for over 28 yrs. They've known each other for years and their spontaneous comedy and engaging manner will have you feeling like you're among friends! The Little Opry Theater (inside the IMAX theater complex) is intimate, cozy and comfortable. A great value for your dollar$. The bass player keeps the foundation firm and does a great job!To visit Sons of Britches and other attractions in Branson, use our Branson online route planner .
Louis plays fiddle. He's a two time Louisiana State Fiddle Champion and won the Canadian Open Fiddle Competition. He came to Branson in 1987 to perform with Cedric Benoit and the Cajun Connection. He has also performed with Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama, The White House Theater and Circle B Supper Show.
Guitar player, Earl Vaughan performed at the Roy Clark Theater in 1984, then moved to the Baldknobbers, where he performed for 20 yrs. He then went to Circle B Supper Show and now he and Louis are here to play "music off the cuff" for your pleasure.
The black bow ties with denim overalls are a sign that you're gonna have fun! They're serious about good music, but that doesn't make them serious guys! They're lighthearted and keep things stirred up!
They joke "it's a tribute to...themselves", "Voted Branson's Best Show... by themselves", and "Branson's first show...of requests". Don't miss this entertaining show!
Sons of Britches Reviews
Husband and I visited. The price is reasonable, the theatre has no bad seats (almost). The performers greeted us and we got seated. They did a few numbers then took requests. Performed about 1 hr 45 m... more »
we think this is the best show in branson . Only show you can go to and see a new show twice in one day more »
It was a fun show. I'm 47 so only knew a few songs that they played but it's different every time because the audience tells them what to play (that was cool). They all are very capable musicians and had some funny one-liners. They played for the entire show, no costume changes and no intermission time so it kept things going! Well worth seeing the show even if your a bit on the younger side of the crowd!
Fabulous entertainment with a comedy twist. All very talented professional artist, personsble, and will play almost all songs requested, almost! Would see this show multiple times.
