#1 of 19 in Museums in Branson
Pay tribute to one of the greatest tragedies of the 20th century at the Titanic Museum. Housed in a half-scale model of the Titanic, the museum features a 90-minute, self-guided tour that follows one passenger aboard the historic voyage and winds through 20 galleries with over 400 pre-discovery artifacts. Admire the beautiful detailing of the grand staircase and staterooms of what was considered the greatest ship in the world, or head to the top deck to practice steering with the captain. Don’t miss the chance to touch an actual iceberg and to find out what happened to the person whose boarding card you received when you entered the museum. • It was a very interesting exhibit, and very sobering. When you start (at least for us), you are given a card with a name on it. The card talks about someone who was on the Titanic, and as you go through the exhibit, you have the opportunity to see if that person survived. The artifacts were amazing... think about it, a deck chair that actually was on the Titanic right there in front of you. I thought it was a very good way to show what happened that night, as well as tell about the people who were aboard (and who may or may not have survived).
  • It was an exceptionally wonderful experience! It was a dream come true! I love the walk through of the museum and appreciate anything that I see or learn that I may not have done so before. I love the displays of everything! It seems to match everything that was in the movie. You feel like you have your own personal unique experience with every beautiful breathtaking scene that you walk through and their little shop is wonderful! You can buy your favorite types of things to take home as treasures to remind you of that wonderful love story movie Titanic! And they take your picture with your family and friends so it is like having your own experience because you can choose to buy the picture if you wish! I love it and I want to keep coming back all the time! The beautifully made tiny ships that you can buy and countless other items make the place well worth the visit.
