Carbon Canyon Regional Park reviews
I was here in 1980 and now in 2018 I return. The redwood trees have grown and matured and this is such a beautiful park. If you have yet to take the hike, go see the Redwood Trees! See and hear... more »

Best kept secrets in O C. Easy to hike, and lots of free parking. Beautiful location, and very quiet. A must place to visit,if you want to enjoy the redwoods with out the drive. This trail takes you into Chino State Park. Most dogs are on leash,no strollers,or many bikes. More of a tranquil place. I have seen photo shoot, but for the most part, never more then 2 or 3 people. Again, very friendly, clean, quiet and beautiful place.
Limited parking if there are a lot of people. Also, costs $5 to get in, at least by vehicle. I reckon you could walk or bike in for free. It's a huge park with plenty of dirt trails. I was here for a college cross country meet. There are places to have picnics here and plenty of areas for children to play in. You can mountain bike here, too. Oh, and there's a good-sized pond here, as well.
