  • This FREE place is packed with local history, that also appeals to a wider audience given the Naval shipyard’s long history with Bremerton. Lots of fun exhibits that also keep little ones engaged. It’s rarely crowded and right in the heart of downtown Bremerton by shops, restaurants, and theaters. The people at the welcome desk are also very knowledgeable about the immediate area and can give you lots of recommendations. Worth the visit.
  • If you have not checked this out, you need to! I love walking down their 'Main Street' which feels like you have been transported in time. You can look in all the store windows to see different displays and it feels like you are right there living history. Also love to bring my nephews here for the interactive kid's displays. Great exhibit on the history of the local ferry systems and I really enjoyed the exhibit called "The State of the Union in Black and White" a fascinating display of items from African American culture.
