Located on five wooded acres by the Fairfield/Bridgeport line at 4450 Park Avenue in Bridgeport, Connecticut, behind the Discovery Museum. (One mile off Exit 47 Merritt Parkway.)

The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum is the largest climbing park in Connecticut, with 23 zip lines, six difficulty levels, and over 170 challenge bridges.

At the heart of the park is the main platform, where 13 trails extend up into the tree tops. Each trail is color-coded, indicating difficulty level. Much like a ski mountain, each climber chooses their own challenge level. The experience is self-guided and focused on exploration and discovery.

Climbers can generally complete two to four trails during a three-hour climbing session, depending on the climber's skill level and trails chosen. Each visit includes a safety orientation, harness and other equipment for a memorable outdoor experience bar none.

  • SO MUCH FUN! Staff is incredibly nice and will literally walk you through on how to get through an obstacle if you think you can't do it. Gets VERY challenging. Pricey but worth every penny. They also have free water stations!
  • Our family loves this. Ages for us range fro 8 to 42 years old. Physically challenging and so much fun.
