The mission of the Friends of Linden Place is to preserve and restore its treasured historic property and to insure its public accessibility by developing a program of uses that will enhance the artistic, cultural and education life of the community.

Friends of Linden Place is a non-profit corporation responsible for the preservation, restoration, and promotion of Linden Place, an 1810 Federal period mansion located in the center of downtown Bristol, Rhode Island. The mansion and grounds are open to the public from May through October, during the holiday season, and also by appointment.

  • This was drop dead gorgeous. Some of the history is gross since the builders were big in the slave trade but much of the history is more positive as well. Definitely worth a visit!
  • We photographed our first wedding at the Linden Place Mansion this past fall and fell in love. What an incredible wedding venue in RI for anyone who loves antiques and history!
