Brooklyn Bridge Park stretches 2 km (1.3 mi) along Brooklyn’s East River shoreline and offers scenic views of the Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline. This historical area features two Civil War-era buildings: the Tobacco Warehouse and Empire Stores, which are used for concerts in the summertime. Explore Brooklyn’s waterways by kayak, test your skills on the roller skating rink, or enjoy a picnic and take in the views. Visitors with children will find everything they need on Pier 6, with one of the largest sandboxes in New York, water jets, volleyball courts, and jungle gyms. Best place for a sunrise and sunset picture of new york. You can see the statue of liberty, the entire skyline if the clouds clear, and the Brooklyn Bridge. The entire park is made for the viewing with lots of great corners where you can get good panorama. The bridge is kind of confusing to cross to get here so look up directions carefully
Always happy to visit this place, especially at night. You get to see the spectacular view of Manhattan. There are couple of chairs where we can sit and relax and enjoy the breeze over the river. Be careful of bicycle riders. They move very fast. Apart from that you can take a relaxing walk and enjoy the view.
