Wander the boardwalk, lounge on the beach, or grab a bite to eat at a waterside cafe when you visit Coney Island. This arts organization on a Brooklyn peninsula hosts museums, arcades, and sideshow-type establishments. Hop on an amusement park ride, like a roller coaster, Ferris wheel, or carousel for a classic regional experience. This conglomeration of beachfront attractions retains its air of nostalgia thanks to the remnants of the tourist industry that powered its development. Before you head to Brooklyn, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Brooklyn day trip planner, to make sure you see all that Brooklyn has to offer, including Coney Island.

I had quite a nice time here in Coney Island Beach/Boardwalk. Lots to do here. Beach is alright. Water is a bit dirty. Lots to do on the boardwalk. Amusement park with rides and games. Golf course, go cart racing, bumper cars, games, huge roller coasters and lots of food!! There’s an area where lots of people were fishing too. Fun for adults and fun for kids. Very close by to the train.

Maybe not the most visited place for out of town tourists. However this place is iconic in its own way. Amusement parks basically began here in Coney Island in the late 1800's.
