  • Got there too late to hike but found a sweet little spot that featured a long stairway to a ramp and a dock. The evergreens had the longest and thickest light green moss hanging from the branches that I have ever seen in Maine. The entire scene was beautiful.
  • The Goose Falls trail is outstanding with it's glimpses of Penobscot Bay, leaping schools of menhaden under siege by seals, seabirds, and moss and lichen covered rock outcrops. Children enjoy watching for the red trail signs and completing a successful hike with a few challenges thrown in. The carpet of bunch berries was a spectacular sight!
