  • Close by our B&B. Enormous tree! Sweet to take pictures with my hubby since we were on a couple weekend getaway for each of our birthdays.,

  • The tree is massive, but go to Darien, look for the courthouse, walk out to the road, hiway 17 (north walton st), stay on the right hand side, as you turn right on road 99 its on the right. "Google the oak tree in Darien GA that General Oglethorpe camped under". And there's a road behind Todd Elementary school in Darien. Take it, schools' gonna be on your right as you go behind it, then look on the right for a driveway that goes to the graveyard, there you will find GEORGE... a freed slave who was loved by so many that they had a headstone made for him.
  • Absolutely beautiful. Seeing Pictures is one thing but seeing the tree in person is Absolutely amazing.
