  • Have been here twice over the years at Christmas including taking out of town guests. The staff and tour guides are very knowledgeable. The world nativities are amazing. Grounds are also lovely.

  • Wonderful and charming castle to visit on your day trip. Make sure to have a good camera with you as you are guaranteed to have beautiful views! The tour may feel like a bit too boring, but it's the only way to see the rooms inside so just bear with it. You get to know some historical facts which was good enough for me. I reserved the tickets but also saw people buying them on site, so it looked like it was fine as well.
  • Beautiful museum. You need to reserve tickets in advance and it is a timed tour. There are several tours available and a description of each can be found on their website. You can also obtain passes from the local libraries. Photography is welcomed as long as you don't use a flash or tripod.
