  • I love old steam trains, and beautiful mountains, so you put the two together and I am on -board. Our guide, Steve, was fantastic, knowledgeable, funny, attentive all that you could ask for and...  more »
  • Fabulous adventure. Scenic, peaceful train ride. It got a 4 because the ride went from 10:30 to 3:00 and while there was a cafe car, when we went to it the only food ready at that time was popcorn. Hot dogs were cooking but nothing else was ready. The 1 hour layover spot was also very crowded with only one restaurant opened and 1 general store. Book 1st class which includes lunch if you can. We were in comfort class as 1st class was sold out.
  • Desappointed because after I shared with the booking lady that we we're in our honey moon, that I was a enthusiast photographer, and wanted to book in first class to be able to take pics without bothering others, she booked us in an empty car up to that point, asked to suggest the best seats for my bride and I, she booked us next to the bathroom, the bathroom door mechanism didn't work properly, people couldn't tell if the bathroom was vacant, so they kept asking if it was busy, couldn't keep a conversation, also our table only had a view for one of us. Others had a panoramic view. If we were the first ones to book this train car why she give us the worst possible seats? I'm bother by her behaviour.
