    It's my 2nd time here and I wasn't disappointed . I visited Nantahala Gorge Ruby Mine initially back in 2016 during my road trip across the country. Stopped here on a whim. I had a blast and decided.....  more »

    The kids had the best time here! Prices were fair and the staff was so kind and patient and knowledgeable. They have a silver bucket where they found three very old silver coins with true value as well as pieces of silver and copper. They found a sharks tooth and lots of large gemstone rocks. Silver ore, amethyst, flourite, quartz, etc. Highly recommend this place. It was not crowded and the facilities were great. We have done this type of activity many different places and this was definitely our favorite and it had the most keeper rocks/stones!
