We heard about the swinging bridge so we took a casual drive to visit. It's a fun little piece of history. There were lots of birds at the peak of the bridge, most that were just sitting there on the way over. On the way back, the whole flock decided to fly away startling me & making me laugh. They circled twice & all settled back into their spots. The town is a cute small town with a few stores & a neat old style movie theater which was neat to see, since most are replaced with giant warehouse looking theaters.

Historic and awesome, but some sections of the bridge are in poor condition and it didn't feel safe to walk all the way across (as of June 2022). It swings though, in the right ways, and it's good to read about its story on the sign.
