Hold onto your hats as you take the plunge on the world’s first looping roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm. Originally a small California berry farm, the amusement park features over 65 hectares (160 acres) of thrill rides, water attractions, and games and arcades, spread throughout six themed areas. Speed down rushing rapids at almost 3.6 m (12 ft) per second on the Timber Mountain Log Ride or enjoy panoramic views of the park and surrounding area from 55 m (180 ft) up in the air on the Sky Cabin ride. Fast track tickets are available for an extra charge if you’d like to avoid long wait times for rides. Knott's Berry Farm Reviews

This is by far the best place to go have fun with family. SO MUCH more affordable than Disneyland AND less crowded. Rides are great, beautiful decorations, great food, great shows. Ride waiting time i... more »
Just recently took a trip to Knott's Berry Farm with my family and some really close friends. We happen to have the most fun on a Sunday. we've gone to the park numerous times throughout the week and even on Saturday but I think the day that the park is the least busy would be either a Wednesday and a Thursday or a Sunday. it was really fun there is a ton of things to do for the entire family there is Big ride little rides kid rides. Something for everyone. The food inside the park is not expensive at all extremely affordable probably two or three dollars more than what you're going to pay if you actually leave the park. overall it was super fun would definitely recommend it to everyone. And actually planning another visit again next week.
Theme park in Buena Park with rides and attractions that are open year round. Compared Six Flags and Disneyland, it is a decent alternative since it has water park next to it. The two day pass for San Diego includes these parks so if you are planning two days of fun near SAN Diego this park is a good choice. Parking gets full so head early or late afternoons when the park opens until 11pm or 10pm. They allow you to bring water and sport drinks but not food. Just go back to your car to eat food brought with you with re-entry (have your tickets with you). Weekdays are less crowded and more time on the rides.
