KeyBank Center, formerly known as Marine Midland Arena, HSBC Arena and First Niagara Center, is a multipurpose indoor arena located in downtown Buffalo, New York. It is the largest indoor arena in Western New York, seating 19,070 fans in its normal configuration, and was constructed primarily for the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL), who have called the arena home since 1996, when it replaced the now-demolished Memorial Auditorium. The arena was renamed as KeyBank Center starting with the 2016–2017 NHL season. It is owned by Erie County and operated by Pegula Sports and Entertainment (as Hockey Western New York, LLC).

    Key Bank....(in the past - HSBC Arena) is a great place for Ice Hockey. Loved the atmosphere. I believe there are only 2 other arenas that are better - Pepsi Center and Gila River Arena. Fans were...  more »

    We went for a concert and would go back. The sound was excellent, staff was helpful. We stayed at the hotel attached to the venue.  more »

    I was seated up in section 318, row 11, right at the top of the arena. Our wonderful usher got us upgraded seats to section 101 at the Jonas Brothers concert. I was so happy that I nearly cried. Loved everything except for $5.50 price on a 20 oz bottle of Coca cola. $11 for 2 of them.

    Have been here to see Coldplay and the Jonas Brothers. Was a great experience both times. Paid extra for a lot parking space. Also of note, the parking pass is good all day not just around concert time so you can park and then spend some time in the city before the concert. The negatives are that the parking pass is so expensive and not included with a ticket. Also that they wanted $12 for a generic beer. That's just ridiculous. I also hope they can continue to grab some top tier talent so Buffalo can have some more great events.
