    We stopped at the Hastings Dairy to pick up some cheese. The road up to the Dairy is unpacked and rutted. Walking into the Dairy, we were looking for someone to take care of us. Finally, we realized.....  more

    Stopped on a journey back from Middlefield. You can walk right in and see dairy cows and workers. We bought some milk from the nearby fridges (which are on the honor system - you simply drop cash into a box if nobody is around). When we left, the owner pulled up in her truck and showed us around, then offered us some more free milk just for stopping by! Love it.

    Very fun and interactive for the kids....they can taste samples of milk/cheese, ride a wagon to see the cows, & ride a train! My son had a blast!
