The Clark Chateau was constructed in 1898-1899 for Charles and Katherine Clark, oldest son of Copper King W. A. Clark. The house served as a private residence to such notable Butte families as the Largeys and the Murrays, as well as the Butte College of Music, the Fez Club, and the home of the Butte Arts Foundation. Today it is home to the Butte Symphony, Montana's oldest symphony orchestra, and The Root & The Bloom Collective, a nonprofit humanities organization.Work out when and for how long to visit Clark Chateau and other Butte attractions using our handy Butte tour itinerary maker .
