  • So much I didn't know about the mining industry or the history of the industry. Very nice staff and gift shop and well worth the tour.

  • Absolutely loved this place. So much to see! You can spend a whole day or even two days exploring everything. There is a lot of mining equipment that is neat to look at. Be careful with the little ones running around. Next time I want to go on the tour and highly recommend it.
  • Great informative mine tours. Staff was very knowledgeable about the machinery in the mines, as well as their geology. I would definitely recommend getting your tickets for the tour at least a day ahead, as there are limited spots available. In addition, wearing a light sweatshirt is a good idea, because temperatures in the mine are about 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Wear close-toed walking shoes (it gets muddy). Amazing experience for families!
