  • Awesome place to visit between hiking the trails, there are two great ones just outside the center and a beautiful Osprey nest just off the trail. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The animals look well cared for and didn't seem to mind posing for a few pictures. 😀
  • This place is awesome. They have so many rescue animals from owls and hawks to reptiles and snakes, even a bobcat. They're part of the red wolf conservation program, so they even had a litter of pups with the pair of wolves that live there. The hummingbird/butterfly/ pollinator garden is fantastic. There's a nice shady spot to sit and just watch the dozens of hummingbirds flit about. They also have programs where they talk about how the different creatures came to be there with plenty of facts about them mixed in. Definitely worth the small entry fee.
