  • This park is placed on several pine covered peninsulas that finger out into Lake Russell. The site has camping - water and electrical or primitive sites -, a nice fishing pier, trails, swimming area.....  more »
  • Very nice park and campsites. Water was amazing very few boats near the campsite. Made for a very peaceful weekend. Shower houses need some sort of air movement. They get hot and sticky quickly. Cell service is almost non existent which is horrible if you need medical help, the service goes in and out. If you forget something there's a Dollar General nearby but that's about it. Otherwise a very nice place to camp or play on the water. Beats Hartwell by a long shot.
  • We love the very spacious campsites, trails and camp store. Lake Russell is quite and peaceful. The bathhouse is not always clean but it's a campground so that's hard to keep up with. We rented a golf cart and we loved it!
