  • Amazing collection of eggs, nests and mounted birds, a portion of which are on display in a large and airy room. The collection includes more than 22,500 sets of eggs with data, 18,000 nests, and 56,000 bird study skins. The nest collection is the largest collection of its kind in the world, and the egg collection also is one of the largest collections in the world. A great guided tour with Rene Corado, who is the Collections Manager
  • Okay so, this is an incredible place for those who are interested in Bird Species. The staff is top-notch, knowledgeable and ready to serve. Able to answer all your questions. What a wonderful place for research, known world-wide, and right here in Camarillo. I HIGHLY recommend that you get on the list for a special tour, you will be blown away by the amount of work that has gone into this project. So impressive, I hardly know what to say.
