Set within a dramatic coastline of sandy coves and rocky promontories, Moonstone Beach attracts nature lovers with commanding ocean views and tide pools swarming with marine life. The beach is accessible from the 2.4 km (1.5 mi) long wooden boardwalk occasionally shaded by cypress trees and equipped with benches.   • Low tide, has many small tide pools to get hermit crabs and see sea anemone. Rocks are beautiful and have a chance to find moonstones.  more »
  • Wonderful ambience here, great place to collect some rocks. Very peaceful, really neat tide pools. Usually pretty quiet and there is a lot of parking easy to be had. Worth the stay in the hotels...  more »
