"A TUNA CHRISTMAS" – A Madcap Comedy Riot! Runs Nov 22 thru the Special New Year’s Eve Bash on Dec 31.
It’s a fabulously funny and spot-on satire of small-town life during Christmastime, with remarkably just two talented and quick-changing actors playing all 22 delightfully eccentric characters from Tuna, Texas, both male and female, with the most outlandish attire! It's Christmas Eve in the third smallest town in Texas, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies! -- and the town is abuzz with news of a mysterious "Christmas Phantom" vandalizing decorations and other Yuletide traumas, causing events to quickly spin out of control. This is the second in a series of zany comedies by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard, the first being "Greater Tuna". “A Tuna Christmas” is a fast-paced, wildly funny holiday adventure!
The two very gifted actors playing multiple characters are Jonathan Shadrach and Jeff Walters. The director is Jill Turnbow. This is the fifth play of the PPP's 37th season.

We saw a well done play. Very enjoyable. Theater sits about 50, no bad seats. Very cute layout. Located in west village with food options nearby. more »
The people I talked to about the food they ate there were ebullient with their compliments. It is pricier so I can't afford to eat there. They're friendly to those who can afford it and ignore those who can't! Otherwise it's an amiable place to eat and take in a stage play, thus the moniker Pewter Plow Play House.
