Dette er en af de sjove oplevelser, man får, når man kører rundt på må og få væk fra de store veje. Jeg var på vej ned til en af de ældste kirker i Maryland, da Emily's Produce bogstavelig talt dukked... more »
This is one of the fun experiences you get when you drive around the must and get away from the big roads. I was going down to one of the oldest churches in Maryland when Emily's Produce literally appeared in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing but open fields all around. It is a fun mix of fruit and vegetable trades combined with home made delicacies as well as some kind of café. I simply could not help but stop and have lunch. I bought the specials of the day for about $6, which was a delicious sandwich incl. A home-made cookie.View original -

This is a quaint little farm stand! They've got a lot of homemade cakes, breads, pies, and savory side dishes, many of which are vegetarian friendly! They sell a few flavors of delicious ice cream but the cup/cone, and more in larger quantities in a nearby ice chest. They have the cutest little animal area where kids can feed goats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, and geese. The prices are very reasonable. I definitely recommend stopping here, stocking up, and then taking those goodies on a lunch time picnic!

A rural farm store. Family farmers who have been cultivating for seven generations in Dorchester County, Maryland. Friendly, chill people are reflecting the low stressed eastern shore life. Organic beef, pork at a reasonable price. U-pick patches behind the store. Hot& cold food, Freezers with take away homemade desserts, Drinks, homemade meals and more. Animal Feeding area, for kids, includes chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, and goats. Fresh vegetables, flowers, a field of sunflower as you drive in — a great stop for children to run around.
