  • Also information on William Still. Located right on the main street next to an ice cream shop with the old Small Town feel run by locals that know their history. You can do it self paced or a tour...

  • After stopping by at Black Water we drove here (just across the street from the park exit). You can’t miss this if you want to learn more about Tubman.

  • Profoundly moving community-run effort! The exhibits and short films presented well Harriet Tubman's amazing courage, deep commitment, emotional intelligence, remarkable savvy, and great achievements as an Underground Railroad conductor, abolitionist and women's equality leader, Union soldier and spy, and ultimately a social service organizer for elderly self-emancipators. Support the Museum by buying something at the gift shop or paying for an educational walking tour of relevant sites in central Cambridge, MD. This local museum group helped inspire the National Park Service to create the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center south of Cambridge, as well as the regional and national historic sites list for the public to visit and/or learn about online. We can all applaud and be grateful for their work over the decades to help lead the way on public education for liberty, justice, and equal rights for all. Thank you! We'll visit again before long and bring friends!
  • Wonderful docent / director. Old timey, small museum charm on a very important subject - Harriet Tubman and her incredibly courageous battle to free fellow human beings from the scourge of slavery. Connects seamlessly to the modern day racial justice struggle.
