  • Visited here to spend some time hiking the Mount Battie trail to the top. Well marked trail with varied footing (logs, stones, dirt, etc.). Beautiful scenery along the way.

  • We almost passed by the turn off leaving town. It was definitely worth a detour up this mountain to see the panoramic view.

  • This campground was a pleasant surprise. It was level and good for my tent. The shower facilities wasn't perfectly clean, but was acceptable and fine for me. I spent the night and moved on in the morning, but it looked like it would have been fun to stay longer. Many other campers were getting ready for a fun day judging from the kayaks and other fun outdoor stuff I saw.
  • Camden Hills State Park is always a wonderful visit! The scenery is beautiful, and one hike is never the same as the next. There is a good mix of different level trails, so Camden Hills State Park is a great place for beginners as well as those that want a challenge on their hike. There is also a campground and overnight hiking for those that want a good weekend camping or hiking trip.
