Bridal Cave is a cave located near Camdenton, Missouri, in Lake of the Ozarks. It takes its name from the Osage Native American legend of Conwee, the son of an Osage chief who desired to marry the daughter of the chief of the opposing tribe. He is said to have kidnapped her for this reason. She committed suicide, and later her companion was wed to Conwee's brother Prince Buffalo in Bridal Chapel. Historically, the first couple to be married were married in June 1949, just one year after the cave was opened to the public. Over 3000 weddings have taken place in this cave.

  • The best cave we've been to. Breathtaking views and The guide was VERY knowledgeable and allowed us to take all the photos we wanted. The parking lot is small for any big rigs though. Thankfully nobody parked in it so we could turn our RV around, but if it's full you won't be able to. Beautiful scenery and place to hang out or have lunch outside overlooking the lake, as well. We're bringing the grands next time, great stop!
  • Me and my wife went to visit this place last weekend. Booked 2 tickets at the front desk at the shop which sells a lot of cool rock stuff (a bit pricey though). Was told to wait for about 30 min. Once the tour started, we had a bunch of about 12-15 people with our guide. The guide patiently explained all the formations inside the cave which looks so beautiful! The guided walking tour lasted for about 45 min. I've been to the Fantastic caverns (which has a vehicle driven tour) but IMO the bridal caves was much better! Totally exceeded my expectations! Once the tour got over, we also took a short .5 mile hike in the thunder mountain overlook. Overall, a very good place to spend about 1.5 hrs.
