  • Great trails with many distance options. Water makes it fun for the kids. Short drive from KC. Worth a visit!  more »
  • Great place to walk/hiking. . Lovely park to get to back to nature and it is so peaceful. I have walking the Deer Run trail several times and always enjoy it.  more »
  • Great place for pulling a trailer. Several pull-through sites. Electric only. Water and dump station available. Very friendly staff. Busy on the weekends, you can make reservations. Good for fishing or just need a place to stay for the night closer to the highway. Not great cell service, but we were able to watch streaming shows. $23
  • Camped in Campground 2 over the weekend with friends. A very nice facility; the shower house was the cleanest we've ever seen . The campsites in Campground 2 are well-spaced; not as roomy in the other electric campground, #4. Thank you Missouri State Parks for such nice facilities.
