  • If you are looking for a great beach to hang out on and walk to Haystack Rock, this is the perfect place. The beach is big and covered in clean, white sand. Even on a beautiful, sunny and warm Sunday afternoon with the parking lot full the beach does not feel crowded. We found a parking spot pretty quickly as there are a lot of people coming and going. The walk to the beach is down a short flight of stairs, maybe 15 steps. There is also a wheelchair ramp so you can wheel a wagon or stroller right down to the beach. The restrooms are very close to the beach and are clean and well maintained. Haystack Rock is only about 1 mile north of the park if you walk along the beach.
  • Awesome spot to chill and enjoy the sunset and sunrise 🌄 As of July 2022, I saw a brown (domesticated) rabbit lingering near the bathrooms. The furry fellow seemed friendly and not threatened by humans. Perhaps it could use a good home 🏡 🐰
