  • We had a wonderful time visiting this museum. Given that it's funded solely by the local historical society, I was surprised with the quality of the exhibits. Excellent displays of old-time...  more »
  • Such a beautiful space. Plenty of parking, and if you don't want to climb the stairs to the top, there is a road that takes you up the hill to the back side of the monument - wheelchair accessible...  more »

  • The McKinley Museum is a great place for ages 3-14! The staff is very friendly and can answer questions that you have about the objects you see! They have a hands on science area which is wonderful especially for younger kids! There is also a place in the museum that has many shops, house's, etc that are fun to play in/look in! They have a train set up that you can watch go around the track! This is a good place to visit!
  • Very impressed with this museum. A nice mix of local history, hands on science that is kid friendly, info on President William McKinley, as well as an impressive monument to President McKinley. The museum works to be interactive - it was a hit with our boys. A very pleasant surprise and well worth a visit.
