Manatee Sanctuary Park, Cape Canaveral

This park is named Manatee Sanctuary because it borders a section of the Banana River that serves as a protected Manatee habitat. While we cannot guarantee that you will see a manatee during your visit, these beautiful creatures have been known to come and feed off the sea grass along the boardwalk.

Manatee sightings aside, this beautiful park is certainly a sight to behold and is a wonderful setting for weddings, family reunions, company picnics, and many other celebrations.

  • Really nice park with a cool boardwalk overlooking the water. There are exercise stations and a large walking path around the park.  more »

  • We loved this little park. There was no sign of any manatees, but I had checked reviews and nobody had ever seen any manatees there so I really was not expecting to see any manatees. There's a lovely little lake with turtles and some birds, lovely peaceful serene park. There's a picnic table and chairs under a lovely sheltered area. There are restrooms also. There's a lovely wooden boardwalk along the Riverside. Lovely park to walk around, small but pretty and there are some gym equipment about the walking areas
  • Didn't get to see any manatees but the park was relaxing and peaceful. There were a few curious soft shelled turtles that scurried about in the adjacent pool oh and the massive amounts of dragonflies is an added bonus. They seemed to follow me around and surrounded me as i was taking photos. So dope.
