  • Great place to see mangrove trees and lizards! Quiet and cool walk through preserve, take in birds and shade!!  more »
  • The walk among the mangroves was a great experience. Being from the northeast, it was something we don’t see. It was very peaceful. Easy to hike on the boardwalks. Also great to see the memorials.  more »
  • Beautiful and well preserved park. Lots of coconut palms at the entrance. Then a nice elevated walk through the mangroves leading to the river. There are launch points for kayaks and canoes. An asset for future generations and a break to a sprawling urban Cape Coral.
  • I love walking back here in the summer. It's has elevated boardwalks and one path leads to a lovely deck overlooking the river. We got kind of lost the first time but managed to find our way back to civilization. The military monuments are worth the trip. Nice restrooms. Who knew this lovely park is right behind the Coralwood Mall. Follow the signs to get there. It's a little tricky because you drive through a residential neighborhood then take an unexpected left turn through the gate.
