We discovered this spot on another tour we took with the Revolution Rail Co. in Cape May. We drove back and spent another hour walking through the trails. Absolutely serene setting.

Beautiful place to be to get away from everything except nature. I went there for the Butterfly Event where they put up a statue for the resemblance for protecting butterflies. Butterflies also migrate to this area during the summer and fall getting ready to go to Mexico for winter. It is such a beautiful place to visit. I don’t recommend going on a hot day though. Can be hard to withstand the heat.

GORGEOUS! Definitely a must see in Cape May. So beautiful in the fall. Lots of trails to walk a beautiful butterfly statue at the entrance. They keep the preserve very clean and there’s plenty of benches and gazebos if you wanted to bring lunch with you. You can spend quite a while here. They even have easels out for you to paint or draw with!
