How fun to see the printing press, the blacksmith, and how things operated long before vehicles, computers and email! Music, interactions with the volunteers, and fun gift shop (think country store). more »

My kids and I went during the “Hands-On” event and really enjoyed ourselves. It wasn’t crowded at all given it was a hot Saturday afternoon. My kids (7 & 4) learned some history and the way of life 200 years ago. They did some arts and crafts as well. But at the end of the day, they were grateful for living in this century :).
