True Nature Healing Arts, Carbondale

#3 of 9 in Things to do in Carbondale
True Nature is a healing sanctuary in the heart of the Rockies featuring an Ayurvedic petit spa, yoga, meditation, conscious food & beverages, an eco-friendly boutique and a peace garden for connection, relaxation and community.

2014 brought the expansion of the center which now includes:

The True Nature Kitchen – serving organic, non-GMO loose leaf teas, high prana cold raw juices, smoothies, soups, fair trade coffee, raw foods and homemade desserts

The Petit Spa – offering massage, facials and Ayurvedic treatments with ingredients so pure you can eat them

The Peace Garden – a beautiful outdoor space that includes a reflexology path, labyrinth, fire circle and yoga spiral

True Nature has been a vibrant part of Carbondale, Colorado’s arts, music, and sustainable food scene since 2007. Carbondale is located in the beautiful Roaring Fork Valley at the base of 13,000 ft. Mt. Sopris. Being in the middle of the valley, TNHA serves Carbondale but also the communities of Glenwood Springs, Basalt, Woody Creek, Snowmass and Aspen, as well as visitors from the Front Range and beyond.

After two years of design and construction, TNHA moved into its beautiful location right on the Rio Grand bike trail at the end of 2012. The creation of the healing arts center was a true act of love and spirit. The design incorporates feng shui principles, eco-friendly materials and solar panels, local artisan crafts and antiques from Kashmir, Afghanistan, India and Morocco.

The deepest intention of TNHA is to serve through offering a world class, inspirational environment supporting individuals and the community in connecting more deeply to the true nature of self—light, love, joy, and infinite possibility. Every moment provides and opportunity to be present, to love and to learn. We look forward to sharing this exciting journey of awakening with you!

  • Favorite place in town. It’s relaxing and a beautiful way to start off your morning. From the inside out, it’s the perfect place to visit in Carbondale. It’s like a secret little getaway in the middle of town. I am so glad I found out about it as soon as I did. Their iced coffee is the best in town and the mood inside adds to your experience every time. Everything down to how they serve their drinks is thoughtful. The inside is very culturally charming and helps you to start your day out on the right foot. I would highly recommend!
  • This place is a gem! The grounds are beautiful, definitely recommend spending time in the back. I loved the matcha latte and highly recommend the mixed berry bar... yum. The massages are pricey but worth it occasionally - very relaxing atmosphere and high quality therapists.
