  • The natural Cave Entrance is beautiful!! The ramp is steep, but it needs to be in order to cover 75 stories in about 1.5 miles. The trail at the natural entrance is is bumpy so you won't slip and fall, even on the wet parts and there are plenty of benches to sit on the way down. If you decide to access the Big Room through the Natural Cave Entrance, you can ride the elevators back up if you don't want to hike this steep trail back up. Absolutely gorgeous Caverns all along this trail.
  • We watched the bats come out of the cave at night. We sat at the picnic tables in the parking lot, watched them fly out as we ate our dinner. The next day we went and did the 1.4 mile hike down with our 2 year old. He made it about a mile but it was mostly all downhill. Amazing and highly recommend it!
