  • It was just awesome. Beautiful. Park rangers were around to take questions. Do the 8:30am departure if you can. No line, cave was wide open, like having it all to ourselves. Go to the Second...

  • Carlsbad Museum and Art Center is NOT the caverns. I'm not sure why there are so many reviews here for the National Park? What this is, is a nice little local museum, dedicated to Carlsbad and...

  • What a lovely collection! The museum has many exhibits that illustrate the history of the area. There's a little bit of everything. Indigenous pieces, fiber art, war artifacts, sculptures, and a very cool room about famous locals. We especially enjoyed the horse and buggy as well as the antique stagecoach. The kids loved the room full of arrowheads. When I visited there was a large display of art made by kids from the local schools, much of it quite impressive. Give yourself about an hour to see everything. Admission is free.
  • An ever evolving gem that highlights local culture and history, while bringing in exhibits that bring artist and cultures from around the world to our community.
