Boutique artisan winery producing food-friendly, classically-styled wines from small vineyards in Monterey County. What are "food-friendly" wines? These are wines that show off bright acidity and also tend to have lower alcohol -- both of these characteristics can create a synergy with a meal. The climate here in Monterey is very cool and lends itself to this kind of winemaking. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Carmel Valley holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Cima Collina and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
We are a dynamic, small winery run by a Napa trained winemaker -- Annette Hoff. Most of our bottlings are unfined, unfiltered, and limited in production.
Sustainable: we source our fruit from either sustainably- or organically-farmed vineyards.
Community-minded: we support many local organizations including The SPCA for Monterey County, The Monterey County Film Commission, The Elkhorn Slough Foundation, and many others.

Nice spot to hang out, especially outside. Red wine tasting was a bit pricey ($25 compared to half that for the other tastings). Not much explanation given at pours. Friendly staff though.
Kind, warm and informative staff at the Cima Collina tasting room made our exploring of their flights of wines all the more enjoyable. The (very small-production) wines here are fuller-bodied and homemade. The Chenin Blanc white wine was a pleasant surprise, subtle and fresh yet still expressive.
