This is a beautiful mansion with a very interesting history from the height of the gold and silver mining era. Lots of Victorian furnishings, a few which are original. There is an original painting of the mansion which played an important part in its history which has been recovered. Lovely grounds and picnic tables too! Washoe County did a great job restoring the mansion and making it available to the public.

Bowers Mansion Regional Park is a cool place to visit. The mansion is over 150 years old and has an abundance of history. There are tours of the interior of the mansion during the summer months on the weekends.
