This theme park is amazing. My 4 year old grandson and I loved the rides, the short lines (Wednesday) and the friendly hosts. The cleanliness is topnotch. Totally navigable for both of us, combined ag... more »
My 3 and 5 year old had a wonderful time here, but this theme park was poorly executed. It's huge, but space is not well used. After entering the park there is a large stretch of nothing you have to walk past to get to the rides. We came mainly for Thomas Land, and while the rides were cute, so much more could have been done to make it an immersive Thomas experience. The food and snacks could have been Thomas themed, like the rides. The store was huge and I expected it to be stocked with all of the track sets, the best of the clothing (including exclusive Thomas Land clothing) and all the trains and Thomas gear (backpacks, lunch boxes, rain boots, dinnerware sets, plush toys, etc) a kid could want, but instead the shelves were sparse and the selection was poor. They could do so much more with this place. Even the train ride was painfully slow and there was hardly anything to look at for half the ride. We came on a cloudy Tuesday and lines for rides were not bad at all. There were many rides that my timid 3 year old enjoyed, which is better than any fair or theme park we've been to. My 5 year old was able to ride the Troublesome Trucks Coaster 8 times with minimal wait times. I'm glad we came, I would just love to see them reach their potential with this park. I'd say it is suitable for kids under 6--any older and they might get bored.
The main attraction for my toddler was Dino Land and the train ride. Edaville was worth the price, all the rides are unlimited and included in the price. Everything was so clean! There were misting fans everywhere and sprinklers to combat the heat. I loved the picnic area in the shade. I'll be back at Christmas time for the lights!
This is certainly a fun place for kids between 4-8. As this is no Disney, kids older than 8 might find it boring. The rides are decent but wish there are more. The Dinosaur World is a nice to have addition other than rides. There are still empty land within the park, wish they will invest and add more new rides to make it better
Edaville Park is set in a quiet, peaceful area and abounds in activities and rides for a variety of age groups. The Ferris Wheel and horse carousels are reminiscent of the early days of Edaville Park; more modern rides include a roller coaster and a hydraulic bungee simulator at the Park's Thomas Land section. The Edaville train ride, a great dinosaur park, and the model train exhibit offer a change of perspective from the amusement rides; or, one could simply roam the park amidst its tranquil setting. The staff and Park visitors were very courteous, friendly, and hospitable. We stayed nearly six hours and there was still energy left for that extra ride.
Too expensive for what it was. For 4 people it was over 150. Some of the rides weren't working and you couldn't go explore the town that was set up. I guess it's for holidays. The train was neat, but there were ancient painted characters that were nearly falling over. It needs to be fixed up. The dinosaur section was neat though.
