Great Hike on a Warm Day. A group of friends got together and hiked Dry Creek Falls today on 7/11/2022. The parking lot at the Bridge of the Gods was where we parked( !!!!!!!!!!!!BEWARE--there have been car break -ins in this lot. REMOVE ALL VISIBLE ITEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first part of the hike goes under the freeway through a short tunnel. Then there is a constant but gentle hike uphill. The path turns left at the sign and continues uphill--not too steep but definitely an uphill sweat builder , especially on a 90 degree day. After about 2 miles you will get to a viewing bridge over a small runoff creek from the main waterfall. The trail continues another 1/2 mile uphill to Dry Falls which is absolutely beautiful. You can walk up to the pool at the base of the waterfall for a refreshing spray as you watch the monster gush in amazement Final take ---GO ( select a cool day to make the constant uphill more pleasant) Not recommended for the mobility handicapped person. Roots, rocks and difficult footing in many places. Recommended

Beautiful hike and worth the wait! Family and dog friendly. My 6 and 4 year old sons managed well. Lots of rocks on the trail and at the waterfall (plenty to throw 😊). Would definitely do it again.
