I stopped on my way down to Colorado Springs to give this a try and was able to do 4 summits. The first one I took the longer winding .7 Mile Trail down to the bottom, but the next three I just went up the stairs and came straight back down. Fastest time up was 2:15min, and down in 2min. I saw that the Strava record is 40 seconds. Definitely got my heart pumping and by the 3rd and 4th time up I had to stop and rest a few times on the stairs.

What a great experience to try in Castle Rock, i had found this park by Google and wanted to try the steps. Wowsa … impressed by all the locals who do this daily!! It’s truly a beautiful spot to enjoy and get some fitness in. 200 steps!
