Icelandic State Park is a public recreation area on the north shore of Lake Renwick, six miles (9.7 km) west of Cavalier in Akra Township, Pembina County, North Dakota. The state park encompasses more than 900 acres (360 ha), two hundred of which are wooded. The park features a beach, museum, historic buildings, the Pioneer Heritage Center, and the Gunlogson State Nature Preserve.

    What a GREAT park. I camped here for 3 nights. The campground is very nice. Clean and well laid out. You don’t feel wedged in between other campers. Plenty of electric sites for you RVers. If you...

    It's a good place to hike and bird 🐦watching very peaceful 😌

    Beautiful location. More quiet than some parks we've visited, which we really enjoyed. The showers and bathrooms on site were modern and kept clean. We will be visiting again.
